Statement of Faith

  • There is one God, personal, and eternal existing in three separate and equally divine persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. (Psalm 90:2; Matthew 28:19; 1 Peter 1:2; 2 Corinthians 13:14)
  • The Bible is inspired by God and inerrant in the original text. Scripture is authoritative, sufficient, and useful for teaching, reproof, correction, and training in righteousness. (2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20-21; Psalm 119:160; Proverbs 30:5; Hebrews 4:12)
  • God created male and female in his image and therefore, they are worthy of love, dignity, and respect regardless of ability, age, class, gender, ethnicity, or national origin. (Genesis 1:1, 27; Psalm 8:3-6)
  • All people have sinned and thus changed themselves from God’s original creation. This caused their alienation from God. In an act of love, Jesus sacrificially died for sinners, and by His death and resurrection we can be reconciled with God. We are saved by grace (unmerited favor), not by anything we can do. (Isaiah 53:6, 59:1-2; Romans 3:23)
  • A day is coming when Jesus will judge the world in righteousness. There will be eternal life for the saved and eternal punishment (separation from God) for the lost. (1 Peter 4:5; 2 Timothy 4:1; Psalm 7:8; John 3:16; Romans 6:23; Revelation 20:15; 1 John 5:11-12; Matthew 25:31-46)
  • We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all things were created through Him, His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles (supernatural power), atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, and in His ascension to the right hand of the Father. (Matthew 1:22, 23, John 1:1-5, Hebrews 4:14-15, I Corinthians 15:3-6, Romans 1:3-4, 5:-11, Acts 1:9-11)
